Comments to Resolve Markers
Paste review notes from anywhere and turn them into Resolve timeline markers.
Paste comments from an email, a doc, YouTube, Frame.io or a spreadsheet. Every line with a time becomes a marker on the current timeline, and ranges become duration markers.
What it does for you
- Paste notes from email, docs, YouTube, Frame.io or a CSV and get one marker per note.
- Understands 0:39, [0:39], 00:00:39:12, 1m20s, ranges and comments that wrap onto the next line.
- Preview exactly where each note lands before adding.
Requirements
- DaVinci Resolve Studio 19.1 or newer (the free version of Resolve blocks script windows).
- Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel). One file works on both.
- Install: copy the .lua file into Resolve's Scripts/Utility folder, then open it from Workspace > Scripts.
- Tested in DaVinci Resolve Studio 21 on Windows 11. The script also runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon). If anything does not work on your Mac, please report it on GitHub or by email.
